Internet Academy courses are presented over the Internet and may require extra software. Please note that Internet Academy students are required to use either Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox 3. Using other browsers such as Safari on the Mac will create situations where the student will potentionally lose work.

Printing
Some classes will require that some assignments or tests be printed out. If you do not have a printer of your own, some access to a printer will be necessary, whether via friend/family or a commercial service such as Kinko's.
Dialup Internet Connections
Students and parents can successfully access Internet Academy courses and other content over a dialup Internet connection, but the experience will be sub-optimal. Internet Academy does not support dialup connections and strongly recommends DSL or cable Internet connections where feasible.
