Internet Academy courses are primarily web based meaning the student will primarily work directly in the web browser. Students must use Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox 3.0 only as our system is not compatible with other browsers such as Safari. However, there are a few elective courses that do require the student to download from the course pages software to aid in completion of the course requirements. All of these software titles are currently of a shareware or open source license type. Students are able to install these software titles onto multiple machines if desired and have no obligation to remove the software at the conclusion of the class.
