High School Diploma - DRAFT Online Diploma

Beginning in 2009-2010 Internet Academy will begin offering a diploma from Federal Way's Truman High School. To qualify for a diploma the student must earn at least 2.5 of their credits from Internet Academy. All graduates will meet all the requirements of Federal Way Public Schools.

Occupational Education (CTE) 1.0 Students need to take two of the following: Accounting 1, Accounting 2, Career Choices, Digital Communications Tools, Visual Communications, Web Design 1, and Web Design 2. Additional CTE courses may be taken and applied to elective requirements. 9-12
Social Studies 1.0 History of Pacific Region 1 (PNW) & History of Pacific Region 2 9

Total credits needed to graduate and other requirements: 23.5 Graduation requirements include the completion of a Culminating Project (Master Portfolio) and the 13 Year Plan. 9-12

What do you want to do after you graduate? Choosing the right courses during high school can give students a competitive edge in the post-high school world.

Master Portfolio

Throughout a students time in high school, students will collect a variety of examples of their work that will be used to demonstrate their learning. This culminating project creates a Master Portfolio for each student that they will use as they build their resume for college and careers.
