Practice 4:

Three students are to draw a triangle on the front board. Sara is told that her angle to draw for the triangle is 30 degrees. Ron needs to draw another angle of the triangle so that it measures 30 degrees too. Dan lost his piece of paper and can't remember what measurement he is suppose to draw the third angle of the triangle. He doesn't want to get in trouble so he thinks he can figure it out without the piece of paper.

  • How should Dan draw the third and final angle of the triangle?

Explain your solution using words, numbers, and/or pictures. ( 2 point response)

Since this is a two point response, make sure you have the answer to the question and then have details to support your answer.

The first point is the answer to the question. How many degrees should he make the third angle of the triangle?

The second point is your support for your answer. Why do you know that is the answer?
