As you look at the scattergram you notice that
you can see that as students get into higher grade levels
the more time they spend doing homework. The points
appear to gradually increase in time as the student
goes into the next grade.
Your answer for a problem like this would
need to include the relationship between
the grade levels and the amount of time spent
doing
homework. Here is where you would describe
that based upon the points plotted it appears
that students in lower grades spend less time
doing homework and the higher the grade level
the more time they spend doing homework.
The
second part of the answer should address
the trend that the scattergram seems to suggest.
For this section of the answer you would
include
a generalized statement or two about as the
grade level increases so does the amount
