2 - Instruction:

"Mama Is a
Sunrise" and "Hairs" are
both a child's tribute to mom. You might recognize characteristics
of someone special in your life while reading these selections.
You might even be inspired to write your own poem. See if
you find other connections between the two texts. They are
both linked to the book icons below.

Before Reading:
Read the prompt you will be answering, so that there is a place
in your brain to file away ideas as you read! You might want
to quickly review figures of speech from Lesson 5 too.

and the passage "Hairs."
