Welcome to ALP, the WASL Prep Resource!

By working in this ALP (Accelerated Learning Program) math resource, you will be learning, reviewing, and practicing math skills to help you meet Washington State math standards by covering the required state math grade level expectations.  You will be actively working online with skills and concepts to improve and build upon your mathematical abilities.  Completion of this resource will equip you with skills for test taking and for working smarter in future math classes. 

You will begin by learning to study and prepare for a math test, to deal with math anxiety, to find the truth about math myths, to practice different test taking tips, and to work with rubrics used to score your efforts. 

You will be working on these mathematical skills: rational numbers, proportions in problem solving, whole number powers, multi-step computations, area and volume, measurement conversions, geometric properties and relationships, conditional probability, statistics, simple expressions, problem solving, and much more.
