We are Internet Academy. We are Washington State’s FIRST 100% online public school, specializing in building lasting relationships with our students and delivering meaningful and rigorous courses in a 100% online learning environment.
We are a complete K-12 school and are a part of the Federal Way School District. Enrollment is open to EVERY Washington State family and is 100% tuition-free for most students; you do not have to live in Federal Way to become an iA student.

Designed for flexible, student-centered learning, scholars with iA have no set daily schedules to follow or required check-in times.
Scholars can participate in clubs, sports and activities offered at their home school district.
Scholars meet all Washington State graduation requirements and can participate in our in-person commencement ceremony in June (we love a good Pomp and Circumstance).

We offer over 270 unique and exciting core, elective, and CTE courses. We also offer many credit recovery course options as well as accelerated learning opportunities.
Many of our high school classes are NCAA approved (details in the course catalog syllabus) and we are the proud academic partner of the Seattle Sounders FC!
We utilize technology leveraged by universities, colleges, technical and apprenticeship programs and colleges, and businesses of all sizes, preparing our students for life after high school.
