Documents to have available for registration include:

  • Address verification 
  • Immunization records
  • Emergency & medical contacts
  • Transcript for scholars with existing high school credit / all scholars entering grades 9-12
  • Age verification documentation
  • Any Special Education support documentation (504 or IEP)

New to FWPS

Click this path if your family is enrolling in Federal Way Public Schools for the first time. You'll start by creating a ParentVUE account.

Returning to FWPS

Click this path if your family has an existing enrollment history in Federal Way Public Schools. You'll use your ParentVUE account to review and update existing information, including adding a new scholar.

FWPS Concurrent

FWPS scholars who want to add an iA course to their existing building school schedule must contact their school counselor. Select Returning to FWPS to transfer to Internet Academy full-time.

Enrolling at Internet Academy begins by completing Online Registration with Federal Way Public Schools.

Live outside the Federal Way School District boundaries?
Request a Choice Transfer to attend Internet Academy for free. New requests and renewals can be made through the state web portal. Choice Transfers must be renewed each year per state regulations.

No Choice Transfer is needed for Federal Way School District residents.
